J. Sangetha is the founder and chairperson of Lead UP Malaysia, an organization dedicated to empowering communities through leadership, diversity, and inclusion. With over 15 years of experience in grassroots activism and public policy, Sangetha has spearheaded transformative campaigns focusing on gender equality, poverty eradication, and health awareness.

A legal professional with an LLB (Hons) from the University of the West of England and a CLP from Malaysia, Sangetha is also pursuing a Master’s in Public Policy at Sunway University. She is a seasoned public speaker and consultant, having contributed to international platforms like Women Deliver, the Bali Civil Society Forum, and the ASEAN General Assembly. Her initiatives under Lead UP Malaysia include impactful programs such as “Garaj Komuniti” and “Sayangi Diri”, which promote awareness and empowerment for marginalized communities.

Beyond her organizational work, Sangetha holds leadership roles within Parti KEADILAN Rakyat as Vice Chief of Wanita KEADILAN and continues to champion inclusive and feminist leadership across Malaysia and the ASEAN region.
